When monkeys ruled the earth, there was a
rebellion amongst the armies of the monkey kind. They overthrew the king, but in
the process, angered Simian, the monkey-mage. He turned all but a few of the
monkeys into a lesser animal, the human. We must worship the monkey of Asia,
who escaped the transformation and was killed by the monkey secret police, the
P.S.M. Once dead he traveled to the sun, where he set about collecting
worshippers. But the humans, who wanted to forget about their monkey
up-bringing and started to worship the false gods. Up until now, the
Monkey of Asia was follower-less and powerless. But 20 years ago, an astronomer
saw a monkey in the sun. That was in fact the Monkey of Asia. Now, the Funka
Munkas worship the monkey of Asia as a god. If pleased, the monkey will turn us
back into our superior monkey selves.
